2021 into 2022
Christmas-New Year

The City of Oxford Orchestra was founded in 1965 with a firm commitment to provide live, classical music of the highest quality to the widest possible audience.  The Orchestra has played to acclaim in most of the capital cities of Europe whilst also providing all-year-round concerts in Oxford's beautiful, historical buildings, in particular, Sir Christopher Wren's stunning Sheldonian Theatre.

Normally I would be welcoming you to our 2021 into 2022 season with a trio of Christmas and New Year celebrations. As we all know, however, life has not been normal for nearly two years.

Sadly, Oxford University guidelines forced the cancellation of our Christmas Concerts in December, and now, the current COVID-19 uncertainty has forced us to to postpone our ever popular Viennese New Year Concert.
